Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data DexCue collects, why it is used, and how it is handled.
Last updated: March 8, 2026
1. Data we collect
We may collect account information such as name and email address, limited billing information, IP address, session activity, license keys, hardware identifiers, linked device names, activation records, and product usage or error information needed to operate the service. DexCue does not store your full payment card number, card security code, or full card details on its own servers.
2. Why we use data
We use data to create and manage accounts, process payments, issue and verify licenses, prevent abuse and fraud, provide customer support, improve product reliability, and meet legal or accounting obligations.
3. Payment and service providers
We share limited data with providers that help us run DexCue, including Stripe for billing and payments, Resend for email delivery, and Sentry for error monitoring where enabled. Stripe handles payment card collection, processing, and storage for checkout and subscription billing. DexCue typically only receives limited billing and transaction details such as the last four digits of a card, card brand, payment status, billing country, and provider identifiers needed to manage subscriptions, invoices, fraud prevention, and support. These providers process data on our behalf or as needed to complete the services you request.
4. Retention
We keep account, subscription, licensing, and related operational data for as long as needed to provide the service and satisfy legal, security, tax, or fraud-prevention requirements. Some billing records may be retained even after account closure where required by law.
5. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. You may also request account-related help through support. We may retain limited records where law or legitimate business needs require it.
6. Cookies and analytics
DexCue may use essential session cookies for login and account access. Cookie-free analytics may be used for aggregate site measurement. We do not rely on advertising trackers to operate the product.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect account and billing data, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
