Full update summary since v1.0.58 (15 September 2026), covering the recent 1.0.59 and 1.5 releases through v1.5.1.
Show console and cue control
- Completely redesigned control panel with Run of Show, Program previews, timer controls, presenter messages and an optional Show Status panel. Layouts adapt to desktop, tablet and phone screens.
- Numbered cues show LIVE, NEXT and DONE. Selecting a cue prepares it without changing the live output; Take live sends it to the display, and Back to live returns the controls to the current cue.
- Drag anywhere on a cue row with a mouse to reorder it, or use the touch handle. Selected and live cues scroll into view on wider layouts.
- Duplicate creates an independent full-length cue with its complete settings, colors and lane, directly below the selected cue. Duplicated Aux cues start hidden.
- Faster deletion with a six-second Undo option. Deleting the live cue still asks for confirmation.
- Finished countdowns reset to full length when taken live again. Paused cues with time remaining resume where they stopped, and run order determines the next cue.
- Redesigned Add Cue dialog with quick names, duration presets, flexible time entry, an end-at-time option, insertion after the selected cue or at the end, Main/Aux selection, a live preview and Add another.
- Redesigned Set Time dialog with Set to, Add or remove and End at modes, plus a preview of the result. It accepts entries such as 1:30, 90s and 1h 15m, with presets, Full length and keyboard adjustments.
- Add cue is now available directly under Aux with Aux preselected. Individual and whole-strip show/hide controls make Aux timers easier to manage.
- Expanded console shortcuts for Take live, Next, Duplicate, Rename, reorder, delete, blackout, Aux visibility and time adjustments. Typing in a message or other text field no longer accidentally starts or pauses playback.
- The live cue's name and time appear in the desktop window title, taskbar and Alt+Tab.
Show timing and Activity
- New Host-synchronized Show Timer tracks total elapsed show time across controllers, with automatic start/end behavior and manual End, Resume and Reset controls.
- Show Status includes projected finishing time, time left, schedule/overtime status, current time, connection count, the live cue's actual warning threshold and Activity. Panel visibility is remembered.
- Activity identifies the initiating native computer/device, browser platform, Cloud Remote or Host for automatic actions. Refreshes no longer create duplicate activity entries.
Stage, Audience and Program previews
- Stage and Audience run simultaneously and follow the same live cue. Each has independent appearance, monitor placement, fullscreen, pinning, blackout, test pattern and recovery.
- Side-by-side Program previews have direct Open/Close buttons, output status and independent preview visibility controls. Hiding a preview leaves its output running, and its controls remain in place.
- On the Windows output PC, Program mirrors the actual output windows. Other computers and browsers clearly label their state-based layout previews and show Host-reported renderer health; remote video streaming is not included.
- Stage adds an Up next line and a separate Aux-strip visibility setting. Stage and Audience keep separate appearance settings, and Audience starts with presenter messages hidden.
- Screen settings bring appearance and window controls together, with Black, Graphite and Navy background presets, custom hex color entry and a working return to the default background.
- Improved external-monitor detection and automatic placement, with output windows positioned before appearing. Explicit monitor preferences are retained.
- Both Stage and Audience reveal a toolbar and close X on cursor movement, including when no cue is selected or blackout/test content is showing.
- First Esc displays "Press Esc again to close this screen"; a second separate press within three seconds closes only that output. Holding Esc does not count as the second press.
Presenter messages and cue warnings
- Configurable message auto-clear, Hold to keep a message visible, release to resume its remaining time, and Clear. The console offers Off, 10, 15, 30 and 60-second auto-clear choices.
- Smoother message progress animation based on synchronized Host time. Joining or reconnecting does not restart a message's countdown.
- Adjustable message size from 20% to 100% of the timer's size. The timer makes room for the message, and long text fits or truncates safely within the display.
- Failed message sends retain their draft. Up in an empty message box recalls the last message sent.
- Streamlined presenter priority selector with Normal, High and Urgent options alongside the existing quick messages.
- Per-countdown warning colors and Host defaults for newly created cues. Existing custom zones, imported cues and duplicated cue configurations are preserved.
- Removed the misleading local warning preference; Show Status now reflects the warning thresholds actually used by the live cue.
Device access, settings and activation
- New remote-device approval: request access, compare the matching code and allow or deny the device on the Host. A PIN permits an approval request rather than granting control by itself.
- Approve, deny, revoke or reapprove individual devices, or revoke all approved and pending devices. Revocation disconnects the affected device and survives Host restarts.
- A master remote-input switch and a separate Cloud Remote switch. Cloud Remote defaults off and is managed as one input, rather than individually revocable cloud browsers.
- Protected remembered device credentials on Windows and Android support approved reconnection. Browser credentials last for the current app session, so reloading may require approval again.
- Settings reorganized into Show, Displays, Messages, Keyboard, Host & Network, Data & Backup, and License & About.
- Consistent Activate Pro entry points from Settings, upgrade prompts and the Free banner, with clearer browser sign-in, offline file activation, saving and error states. Remote controllers direct activation to the Host.
- Every Host startup attempts online activation verification. Confirmed server revocations, subscription rejection and ownership conflicts are honored; valid offline access continues when the server cannot be reached.
- Better handling of small computer/server clock differences during activation, while certificate expiry and event deadlines remain enforced.
Reliability, browsers and installation
- Same-computer Windows control and output no longer depend on the TCP network listener. A local output can continue working when that listener cannot start.
- Improved output supervision and bounded recovery preserve the running timer. Intentionally closed outputs stay closed; controller shutdown closes its owned windows and Host safely.
- Fixes for cue-order synchronization, messages after reconnecting, time-zone handling, time editing, invalid or oversized durations, negative saved reset durations, saved shortcuts and failed commands.
- Windows, Android, LAN browser, Cloud browser and the server connector now support the current console and remote controls together. Browser approval/reconnect handling is improved.
- Rebuilt and verified the bundled local browser resources for offline startup. The Windows installer includes the required Visual C++ runtime files for more reliable startup on another PC.
Removed and replaced
- Removed the teleprompter editor, playback, display integration, related network functionality and old website preview so the app focuses on timers.
- Replaced the old timer-card control panel and scroll-wheel time editor with the show console and new time dialogs.
- Removed obsolete compatibility layers, older controller protocols, legacy show/state readers, old activation-key paths and unused API aliases.
Upgrade note: update the Host and all controllers together. Older controllers and legacy show formats are no longer supported.
