Host, display clients, and Companion integration for your timing setup. Read the Timer changelog ↗
Updating from the app opens the download page in your browser. Sign in if asked, then check your browser's Downloads for the setup or APK and run it when your show is safely stopped. Opening the page does not download or install the update inside the app.
New in Timer 1.0.56: choose Sign in / Start free trial to link your Host to your account. An available paid license takes priority; an eligible account receives a 30-day Pro trial when its first trial license is issued. No credit card is required, and reinstalling or importing again does not restart the trial. For a never-online Host, export its activation request, sign in and upload it on an internet-connected device to link the Host, then download and import the license on the offline computer. Announcement emails are optional and are not required for activation.
Previously added in Timer 1.0.55: open Settings > Display & Presenter > Overtime Effect to choose Off, Breathing or Pulse, adjust intensity and color, and try a local preview before pressing Apply. Preview edits do not change live output. Apply saves the effect on the Host for connected displays. The effect changes only the overtime background wash, not digit brightness or timer playback. The default red Breathing effect at 50% preserves the original appearance. Update both the Host and display clients to 1.0.55 for these controls and effects.

Run DexCue from a Stream Deck or any Companion-supported surface. Full timer control on physical buttons: start, stop, time adjustments, messages, and display control.
Download Companion module · v0.2.34Requires Companion 4.3 or later. In Companion, open Modules > Import module package and select the downloaded .tgz file without unpacking it. Then add a DexCue Timer connection or select the imported version for your existing connection. The .tgz contains the module and its help, not button layouts; download the separate board ZIP below for those.
Connect directly to your Timer Host on this computer or your local network. This package is distributed by DexCue; it is not a Bitfocus module-store download. Package import guide.
Public download with eight ready-made 15- and 32-button pages and a setup guide, for Companion 4.3 or later with DexCue Timer module 0.2.34. The seven existing pages remain unchanged, including the two optional Queue pages: scroll the timer list, tap to select for editing, then use SHOW to make it live without starting it. The ZIP contains page templates, not the module package above.
The updated Single Timer XL automatically follows the active main countdown timer, with no binding step. Import the updated page into an empty destination page and check the active timer in the Timer app before pressing a control. Board pack 1.2.4 removes the AUTO ACTIVE and timer-name information tiles, leaving those positions blank; all 30 remaining buttons retain their positions and behavior, including OPEN/CLOSE DISPLAY and TEST. The old information/help tile is not included. It includes 30 SEC and minute presets, -10 MIN, a separate STOP button and status text sized to fit. GO TO ZERO sets zero and stops atomically; STOP follows the existing Timer stop/reset behavior. Use Timer 1.0.53 or later on both the Host and display clients for the complete workflow. SHOW BLACK hides the display while the timer keeps running; SHOW TIMER restores normal output without starting it. Previously imported fixed-binding Single Timer pages keep their old behavior until you import this updated page.
SHOW TEST now displays a custom DexCue screen-check pattern with color bars, grayscale and alignment guides, without changing timer playback. SHOW TIMER exits the test and restores normal output; SHOW BLACK hides it. TEST requires compatible connected display clients and reports confirmation or uncertainty instead of assuming a screen changed. The separate NEXT SCREEN preset requests the next monitor for desktop display windows; it is available in the module, not added to these layouts. Browser tabs and tablets cannot switch physical monitors this way.
The bottom-left button (row 4, column 1) now offers OPEN DISPLAY or CLOSE DISPLAY for the Host's desktop display window. It requests an explicit open or close and waits for confirmed Host window state, showing OPENING or CLOSING while pending. Window control follows the Host's display settings, independently of the active timer, and leaves timer playback and Show/Hide visibility unchanged. New desktop display windows start always-on-top by default; manual unpin remains available. This does not pin browser tabs or tablet screens.
Back up your current Companion configuration first. Unzip the pack, then open Import / Export and select a .companionconfig file. Use the Buttons tab to import into empty destination pages and map the buttons to your DexCue Timer connection. Do not use Full Reset then Import. Set your Host address and token in that connection once. Page import guide.
